Authenticity Guarantee

Authenticity GuaranteeOUR COMMITMENT TO AUTHENTICITY

At Sacred Earth, we take pride in offering authentic, responsibly sourced minerals and fossils. Every specimen is carefully selected, prepared, and represented with accuracy so collectors can buy with confidence.

WHAT WE GUARANTEE

  • The specimen you receive is natural (not a modern synthetic or cast) unless clearly stated otherwise.
  • Descriptions of species, mineral names, and localities are provided to the best of our expertise and are based on visual identification, supplier documentation, and our own examination.
  • Photographs and condition notes reflect the actual item offered for sale.

FOSSILS: REPAIRS AND RESTORATIONS

Many fossils require stabilization, repairs, or restorations to make them safe for handling and display. When a fossil has been repaired, restored, or conserved, we disclose that clearly in the item description and describe the extent and type of work performed. Common restorations include gap-filling, adhesive stabilization, and reconstructed portions—these are standard conservation practices used to preserve and present fossils responsibly.

MINERALS: TREATMENTS AND ENHANCEMENTS

Some mineral specimens may receive standard preparation (cleaning, trimming, mounting) or non-deceptive treatments that are common in the trade. Any intentional enhancements or treatments that affect appearance, value, or care requirements will be stated in the description.

HOW WE AUTHENTICATE ITEMS

Our team relies on experience, comparative morphology, locality data, and standard identification practices to authenticate specimens. We work with reputable suppliers, museums, and collector networks and maintain careful records of provenance when available.

TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY

We are collectors ourselves, and we understand the importance of trust. Sacred Earth’s commitment is to provide clear, accurate information about every specimen we sell. We personally inspect our fossils and minerals—often under magnification and UV light—to verify condition and authenticity before offering them for sale.

CERTIFICATES AND DOCUMENTATION

We do not issue physical certificates of authenticity with purchases.  Each item listing serves as its own record of description and provenance. When additional documentation—such as mine source or supplier records—is available, it will be noted.

RETURNS & CONCERNS

If you believe an item you received is not as described, please contact us immediately with photos and any relevant details. We review all claims seriously and will work with you to resolve issues promptly, including returns or refunds when appropriate and in accordance with our return policy.
